Wisconsin Road Conditions
Wisconsin motorists can now learn about road conditions throughout the state by dialing 511.
The state Department of Transportation has launched the new service to provide timely traffic and road-condition information.
The 511 Traveler Information System also provides automated information on traffic incidents, transit services and roadside services.
The new phone number replaces the state's previous toll free number, which was 1-800-ROAD-WIS.
